Hello from NC.
Hi. I'm Tiffany. I'm happily married with a son and a 'little zoo'. It's not actually a zoo but it feels like it.
We started off with just chinchillas that I'd had before the marriage. Then soon, two stray kittens came creeping around. I figured they belonged to someone so I didn't take them in. Then one morning I found one of them passed on because the neighbors dog had gotten ahold of it. I took in the other cat immediately. We got her spayed a few months later when she was old enough and Miss Lily has been with us ever since.
I thought we were done with our kitties, but then a neighbor had his house to foreclose (The house we now live in, we bought it) and when we were cleaning up the property, we found out he'd gotten a kitten and just left her in the carport. Of course...We kept her. She was spayed about a month ago, and we still call her Kitten.
Now recently, two days ago actually, a friend had a stray to come onto her property and just multiply, and she's moving into a non-pet friendly home and the kittens were about to go to the pound. My husband was playing with them and there was this one female who kept trying to grab his finger and tear it to shreds and of course...He wanted her. So now I've got the little bugger, Spaz, laying beside of me asleep.
We also have a dog that we adopted from the local animal shelter who was just spayed Friday. So you can now understand why I call it a zoo!
Looking forward to meeting other cat and animal fans in general.
