Introduction

My name is B. J. and I have a Calico named Kali. I know the name's not very original, but didn't have plans to keep her. She was a stray that wondered down from the neighbor's and was skin and bones from not being fed well. Couldn't stand not to feed her, then she chose a new home. She became pregnant and had her kittens in a tree stump between my and my neighbor's house. Thought the neighbors were taking care of here, but when she showed back up and wouldn't leave, I followed her to where she led me to the stump where her babies were frozen. Told the neighbors and they continued to say we were not to take her. She immediately became pregnant again. She had the babies in my house this time, we found homes for the babies and I had the cat spayed. She's been mine ever since. I've had her almost 10 years and the neighbors claim she was 7 when we found her, although she looked like a baby. Now she's so spoiled that she sleeps on my bed all winter and won't go out if there is snow on the ground, but in the Summer she only comes in for food and back out!

Hey! Kali's a great name for a calico!! Sounds like she found a wonderful home.

(My Cali is named for a friend whose name is California. Didn't even occur to me about her being a calico until someone pointed it out.)

Looking forward to pictures.
