please help xx

Please would you be able to give me some advise. I have had Sophie the cat now for 6 years from her being a kitten, however we have had to move house due to myself having an heart attack at the age of 34 and needing help caring for my daughter. Unfortunately where we have moved into won't allow cats. We arranged for Sophie to stay with relatives, however after a week the relative have now stated she is not able to have the cat stay with her as she has 'forgotton' what it was like to care for a cat.

My cat has not had her yearly booster injection so therefore we cannot board her at a shelter or cattery for 4 weeks.

We have tried all alternatives and even as a last resort (as heart breaking as it is) come up with the conclusion we may have to give her up, however all the cattery's and shelters don't have places available for this either.

We are therefore at a loss as to what we can do. We would be extremely grateful for any help or advise that you would be able to give.

Thank you for taking time to read this message and I look forward to your response.
