Hello Cat Forum Members!!

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I'm a cat lover, and proud father of now 4 cuties. I'm very happy that I found this forum on the internet, and I'm looking forward to learning from all of you about our experiences with cats. We recently adopted this chubby cat (we do not know her breed yet) and I will be doing some research on possibly transitioning to raw food feeding. I will start by reading past posts.

Have a great day!
Ezequiel

Welcome! I'm not totally comfortable with raw feeding, but as long as you do your research and know how the meat was handled you should do fine.
Your cat has beautiful markings!

Hello Cat Forum Members!!

I believe raw is good as long as it is supplemented with a real good dry food, as well. Back when we just had our first two kitties we bought frozen raw Nature's Variety "medallions". They didn't care which meat it was, it was all good to them. (I found that buffalo and venison was extremely stinky!) I liked that Nature's Variety included berries and greens as well as the meat so I knew they were getting what they needed, however they only got two medallions three times per week.

Just be sure to do your homework and I'm sure you'll all be fine.

Thanks Jasmine and Napoleon's mom! It is very nice to have found this forum. Yes, I've been doing some reading and I think raw feeding will not work for us. I think I will stick to "Taste of the Wild" canned food for now.

What a beautiful kitty! I love spotted cats! Fortunately there arent too many spotted breeds so that should narrow it down for you.
Welcome.
