Greetings from Delaware

Newbie here!!! I have two cats, one a DSH named Skylar who is 17 yrs old. She has early onset kidney disease. So far she is doing okay. I have to get blood work on her every year and so far she is not on special food. I also have a yr old Siamese named Snowball. He's developed allergies and so far cannot determine if its food or something in the home. I have changed his food twice in the hypoallergenic area and still no solution. He also has feline herpes which is under control with daily doses of lysine. Both of them keep me on my toes. Since Skylar was the only cat for so long she has not accepted Snowball so she stays upstairs in my room and Snowball has run of the downstairs. I keep him in the basement at night so that Skylar will not growl and hiss at him while I'm trying to sleep. I look forward to gathering information while in here.
