Pregnant cats ever act like they are in heat?

A cat decided to make my back deck her home. She is a calico, and after finally getting my hands on her, I cannot decide if she might be pregnant or not. I have had her now for a couple weeks and felt at that time she was pregnant, with what seems to be a larger firmer feeling belly. I have had her kept up in a cage for the past couple weeks. I thought she would have babies any day and didn't want her to have them outside somewhere.
Well the past 2 days she has been meowing loud and rubbing all over me. Does a pregnant cat ever act like a cat in heat or is she most likely not pregnant after all?
I do not want to spay her if she is pregnant. I would feel too bad about that.
Thanks for the information.
