Hi from Manchester UK

Just saying hi as just joined up today to the forums!
I got my 19 week old male ginger and white kitten Max on Friday, just starting the long process of training him (or him training me!) though he is in the whole pretty well behaved, just a bit of furniture scratching and hand biting (so far) to deal with, though we are both working on it!
He's a lovely little guy though, very friendly and sociable, also like lots of play time and love. His last family had to give him up becuase of severe allergies by one of their daughters, luckily myself and my house mate dont suffer.

I have always had pets from when I was very young and all through my adult life though Max is the first one that is mostly up to me to train and care for!

Welcome! I just recently joined due to my first true responsibility in taking care of pets of my own, and this is the first time I've ever lived with cats. I thought that training cats was just something you couldn't do. But I've found that to be untrue. They just need immediate rewards and incentive, or enough of a deterrent. A whole lot like humans. lol

I have added a pic, the only one I have on my work PC, of him in the photo gallery under the title of Max, is not a brilliant pic, I shall get some better ones soon.
