First time cat owner, ragdoll

Hi, this is my first time having a cat. He is a male ragdoll and his name is George. I'm wondering what books are good for first time cat owners? Like is there a booklist kind of thing?

I completely agree with Think Like a Cat by Pam Johnson Bennett, on the list that Marie provided. It is a really good primer for learning about cat behavior.
Also a veterinary handbook is always a good option.

George is a cute kitten.

Welcome! That's an adorable little guy who picked you.

There are many behavioral books but really much if not all of that can be gleaned from internet searches. A really entertaining book is The Silent Miaow by Paul Gallico, it is told from the CAT'S perspective and is a classic.

Congratulations and look forward to hearing from you & George!
