Hi. From the looks of it, I want to say about 3 to 3½ months of age. It is hard to tell without seeing them from the side as well as up close to something to get a sense of scale.

That was so nice of you to save their lives. I really do not want to ask why they were going to be drowned as anybody thinking of doing something like that to an animal needs to suffer a lot of pain. Not to mention it will really get me mad. Now are you going to keep them or will you find homes for them?

They look so sweet! I'm with Don...I thought close to 4mo old. I love the "classic" tabby markings.
*sigh* I want another Trio. The Trio I had (2bros, 1sis) were awesome. Always doing everything together like best-friends. You could definitely tell those three had a closer bond than any of our other kitties.

As for drowning them...he bought a house complete with kittens. I was told they were 9 weeks old. Apparently they were still suckling from mommy. I cant keep all of them. I will keep the female so i dont have to make spaying a priority since my female isnt fixed yet. I just need to see how much time I have to rehome males before they can get my girl pregnant. How old do cats come into their first heat?

P.S- dont mind my disguisting shower..I can now see my child clearly didnt clean it like I asked. **trots off to tell her to do it now**

...that one tiger looking cat has beaitful markings :luv
I know! I love the classic tabby pattern and he looks like he'll be STUNNING with the swirls and such a deep and rich brown color in his agouti-banded hairs...and I *think* the kitten looks like it'll have a bit longer hair. That, is gonna be a gorgeous cat!

Well upon further inspection these kittens are sick. They are loaded with fleas. I think they also have earmites...the inside of the ears were black coated and when I would clean it the residue looked like and felt like coffee grounds. Plus when they were shaking their heads it would fly out and land everywere. Eyes were running and so was their nose..worse on the tabby one. They had raspy breathing and were sneezing all the time. Potbellies and skin and bone. I immediatly at 1am called my friend to come get them. I have other animals in my home including an other cat..although all are vaccinated....I dont use flea protection cause my one dog is allergic. I have never ever had fleas or mites and im not about to start.

So she took them in for me until they are giving a clear health bill. Can I afford to bring them all to the vet? No....BUT I would rather go without for a few months to be able to care for these littles ones than have then go into a kill shelter or incompetent rescue. So I will break the old bank and bring them into the vet tomorrow or tuesday whenever I can get the appointment.

Also should I be doing any other testing? Like FEluk or FIV? Would these kittens have it or how do those illnesses work? My kitty isnt tested for it only because I kinda knew where she came from and I trusted the people.

Just did a rescue too, cat was living in an old garage, he was tested for FEluk , FIV and heartworm, got a distemper(FVRCP booster) shot and rabies shot.

Ears has 'significant build up of waxy debris consistent with infection'. I had some ear cleaner solution they gave me previously.

Teeth had tartar and one broken tip right upper canine.

Scabs on the neck.

He got Revolution Blue and Profender for fleas, worms and ear mites(?). He's an adult between 2 and 5 years, so I doubt this stuff is meant for kittens.

Your kittens look like 4 or 5 months, the Vet can tell by the teeth, at 3 months is when they lose baby teeth if I remember correctly.

I have a spare room with a screen door I can slip in to keep him separate.

Well here is food for thought:
I rescuded 4 kittens that were abandoned by Mom at 3 weeks of age I could not keep all 4 luckly they were all healthy, so I did not have to foot that bill. But to off set some of the food bill and to help with the vet. bill when I was finding homes for the 3 I did not keep I asked for $20 for each them. Also it weeded out the crazys and the nuts that only intended harm to my little charges. All 3 found wonderful homes and are doing well and the $ did help with the vet bill. So maby that can help when your finding homes for the 2 your not keeping. And maby you could go to your local feed store for the ear might and flee and worm problems those are pretty easy to diagnose and fix it could keep those costs down?Good Luck!! Have heart it will all work out

Very cute kittens, about a year ago I stoped at a pet store and bought my wife a baby kitten that looked ALOT like those, but it kept climbing into the bed with my infant son so we gave it away, this past weekend we had the chance to see it again, it got HUGE lol. My father-in-law calls it a mountain lion lol. Anyway I hope I'm not too late to help with the flea problem. Look into termador, my father-in-law works for Orkin and suggested it for our dogs and cats, and it works like a charm.
