hi everyone !!
well where i live they dont really have much variety of pet products .. ( i live in the United Arab Emirates ) .
just about 2-3 tiny pet stores , and hundreds of super- and hyper-markets where they only heard of Purina , Whiskas , Friskies and other low grade cat food !

so i was shopping online today on ebay for my 2 cats ... they got flea and i want a good anti-flea solution ( the crappy Armitage powder and spray didnt help , neither did the cat flea shampoo ) ...
and i found those 2 :

and
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20738&item=4307372867&rd=1

so which one should i get ??

also about the food .... the older cat only eats Purina One for all ages !! and i think she is addicted to it now , she wont eat anything else , the younger cat will eat just ANYTHING .... so we give her KiteKat wet food , Whiskas Wet food , some food leftovers and ofcourse she also steals a few bites from mishka's food (purina) !

i know that food is not healthy but i have searched and searched and couldnt find any good food here ... so thats the list of food products that are available :

1.Whiskas
2.Purina
3.Friskies
4.KiteKat
5.Fancy Feast wetfood (new in the market , havent seen much of it really)
6.Iams

so which of all these (low grade) food is the best for my cats ??

cheers , and sorry for the long post !

I would guess Purina or Iams, but I'm not sure :? . That really sucks that there is no more choice where you live. Does anyone know the ingredients on these foods?

Buyer Beware

Becareful about the flea medication that you are going to buy online. There have been stories and news about Advantage and Frontline flea medication that have been conterfeited. Here's a link to read more about it!

Just trying to help here! :)

Purina One would be a better "lower grade" food....would it be too expensive for you to order food online? Just a thought. Good luck!

aha thanks for the link and the advice !
i will check if the product is legitimate by following the steps on the website !!

and yes cat food from the net will be expensive ... imagine the cost of shipping 5+ kgs from the states to the UAE !!

I've been looking into food types, and Purina One (chicken flavor) has more protein than felidae, royal canin, and chicken soup. I thought more protein in dry foods was better? Purina One is at about 34% protein, while the others are 30% or lower.
