Weeks ago we learned that space travel is not not without risk. A test pilot for Virgin Galactic, who's goal it is to provide space travel -for-they claim-everybody-was killed in a tragic crash. Now, they're investigating what went wrong, and spaceflight for the super-rich-not to mention everybody, may not happen in the IMMEDIATE future.

But Rosetta has arrived at comet 67p, and the pictures are something to see. Also the I.S.S. mission is apparently going great.

The idea of space travel is exciting. It's also just a little bit frightening. That's the way it SHOULD be.

I find it incredible that we can land a space ship on a comet but we can't calibrate our voting machines properly.

What's amazing is it took 10 years to reach this comet and it's in our own solar system!
