I've had two orange tabbies (male and female) for about three years now. Ever since I brought them home I've fed them what I thought was good food - Science Diet. It was recommended by my vet, so how could it be wrong?
My husband and I recently adopted a black lab puppy. On the advice of my parents, I researched what would be the best food for her. Turns out that the Science Diet dog food is in the "bad" category according to a lot of the dog websites I've been reading.
I have found several websites that suggest alternative foods for dogs even as specific as what should be fed to what breed, but haven't been able to find anything as detailed for cats.
Does anyone know of such a site or have a recommendation for a book I could find this information in?
Thanks!
