I've also been searching the web. Does anyone know of a pet wipe that is very safe for a cat's back area ..that perhaps would even sooth a bit?

Or any at home made solutions?

I just bought baby washcloths in preparing for my buddy to come home from surgery. I didn't trust any of the non-toxic wipes I found so I'll be just patting his "area" with a warm wet baby washcloth.

Earthbath makes a wipe specifically for cats.

I was also wondering if a light vinegar and water solution may be safe? Anyone happen to know?

It may be cheaper than the wipes and even better for sanitizing her "area". ???

I have always used Huggies soft and gentle baby wipes on all my cats when the have had a little left over. Never have had a problem. :)

I used to use a Japanese brand of pet wipes, but recently changed over to non-scented natural baby wipes as I didn't have time to go to the pet store to buy them when I ran out. The baby wipes seem to be doing a fine job, although I think the baby wipes are a little thicker than the pet wipes, but it's not really a problem.
