Hi everyone

My names Geoff a couple of weeks ago I lost my beloved 5 year old cat George he wasn't really an outdoor cat but was out quite a lot but went out one Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago he came in after about 20 mins of being out he couldn't walk properly he was crying in pain, took him to a 24 vet hospital emergency vet thinking a car had hit him but after lots of tests they found out he had ingested Ante-Freeze and they could do nothing for him so sadly I had to put him to sleep on the sunday,i can honestly say that was the worst day of my life and I cant explain the pain and loss I have been feeling since that day apparently cats like the taste of Anti-Freeze and even just walking in a puddle and cleaning there feet all it takes is one small drop and its deadly.

So please folks look after you beloved friends.

Cheers Geoff

Geoff I am so sorry about your losing George. Anti-freeze poisoning is a big problem esp. in the winter months. I can imagine the pain you are feeling so thank you for posting this warning for others. There are SO MANY dangers lurking outside for our friends it can be near impossible to keep them safe sometimes.

Once again my condolences Geoff for your loss, I believe there is a place where ALL our furry friends wait for us and someday we WILL be reunited. Know that many of us here grieve with you and wish you the best. :heart
