My cats each have their bed and won't go near the others' beds, to avoid any conflict. In the last couple days, though, I've been seeing Lady Nikita lie in the sun during the day in Princess Gatita's spot on my bed, and I was surprised at her nerve. And surprised that Princess didn't object. Funny thing is, just now I was looking for Princess everywhere, only to find her lying in Nikita's bed!

Never underestimate a cat. Problem with most people is that they want cats to behave like humans. But they're cats and behave that way. I'm not sure what to make of that behaviour by your cats. Maybe a sleeping place is not worth fighting over.
