Sounds like Missy is a 'big game hunting cat'. When I was a kid our farm cats use to bring in rats that were the size of an adult bunny! My Mum use to only hit the roof if they caught a Robin and would run after the cats screeching at them to drop it.
My cat Tillie plays with frogs in the garden, I don't think she's
eaten one as yet. Yuk.

This one was quite big - bigger than a robin. It was flapping round the kitchen leaving feathers and blood everywhere. Yuck. :( It flew away when I put it outside though, so I don't think it was too badly hurt.

Majicou, My mother (from Glasgow) said that Robins are different in Gt. Britain. (She also said they are prettier at "home.") There are a lot of birds in the thrush family though.

I'm glad the bird got away relatively unharmed. I used to get really upset if one of my cats caught a bird!
