I got this recipe from my aunt. According to her, 1cc of this is equal to 8 calories. This is the recipe: 10 ounces of any Evaporated milk, 1 cup of plain, smooth yogurt and an egg yolk. Is this a good recipe? What do you guys think?

Yikes - that doesn't sound good for kittens and puppies. Too much lactose/dairy. Many cats and dogs have difficulty digesting lactose (causes diarrhea and stomach upset) and can only tolerate a small amount. That's why they make "cat milk" which doesn't actually have any milk in it. That recipe just doesn't sound species appropriate at all.

Tiki,
It also isn't going to have the PROPER nutrition a kitten needs, besides the fact of causing diarrhea, which leads to dehydration...which leads to dying, if not caught soon enough...:(

Please get/find some KMR (kitten replacement milk) for KITTENS!
It has the proper balance of everything, a kitten needs to thrive!!:)
Good Luck & Hugs and Prayers!
