Kitten will jump on this, and climbs some and seen him fly over it just barely touching the top of this gate. Have to keep him out
of this room and unfortunately keeping the door closed is not an option. Ive tried putting sticky paws on the top and now tin foil and that has not stopped him
In the pic i have just raises the tin foil to make it higher idk yet if this works but it doesn’t work for who has to go into the bedroom, dont wanna spend more money on new gate unless no other choice

I did a quick search on line and the highest ones I can find are 47", not sure if that would be high enough. When I had to use them for my girls, I had to buy 3 and stack them, but I didn't need to go through that door.

Check in a second hand shop. We got several gates to contain the grandkids. $5 per gate. A screen door is also an option, but that's rather more money! Plus installation. I used a screen door on a bedroom where someone allergic to cats slept.
