When is it a good time to start bathing, what age?? I was talking to the vet and he said my kitten is too young to get any tick and flea baths (she is 9 weeks old), but to use a very small amount of dial to wash her. She was from the barn.
My boyfriend noticed that when he would hold her he got isolated itching. Is that an allergy or is that because she needs a bath?

I bathed my kittens as soon as they came home. I used a specific kitten shampoo. I never used, nor will i use, a flea/tick shampoo. Just one application of Frontline or Advantage is enough to make them stop itching nearly imediately!

I think you shouldn't bathe your cat often, as it is not necessary. At MAX every 2 months.

If you are concerned about fleas, but still want a gentle soap to wash them with, use Lemon Dawn. The citrus in it repels fleas. A nifty fact I learned while raising my newborn kittens :D
