Hi Everyone,
I have a 3 year old Siamese male named Cosmo. That is the official name but I call my baby Boo Boo Kitty most of the time. He just had a check up & was fine. He hates going to the vet so I haven't called yet but I noticed his urine was blood tinged and wondered if anyone knows what would cause this and if it is serious?
I would appreciate knowing if anyone else has had a problem like this w/ their cat.
Thanks so much.

Definitely take your cat to the vet. This is obviously not normal. Urinary tract infections are the most common cause of blood in the urine, but it could be many other things. Pets that have gotten into harmful substances such as rat poison will sometimes have bloody urine. Injuries can also cause urine to change color. Check it out with your vet.
