Have you considered adopting an adult Persian? An adult certainly isn't as costly, there's no guesswork in how their personality will turn out and best of all you're saving a life.
I adopted my Persian when he was two years old and I love him to pieces! He's an awesome cat with a personality to match and everyone I know is jealous because they want a cat just like him. :wink: They are certainly a unique breed.
