Our outside cat just had kittens in the eves of our shed. She crawls up on top of a cabinet then shinnys along the rafters and top of the studs to get there. The kittens are on a ledge about 10 feet above a concrete floor. We are worried that they might fall. Can we move them somewhere safer and will the Mom be OK with this? This is our first batch of kittens but the Mom has had kittens before we got her. Out 2 1/2 year old daughter has really been looking forward to these kittens and we don't want anything to happen to them now. Thanks Jeff Kimberly & Sydnee

Yes, you can move the kittens somewhere safer. Just wait until the mother is around to see you move them so she doesn't worry any more then she has too. Can you bring them inside your home? This would be safer for the kittens. Also, I would suggest getting your mother cat spayed after the kittens are weaned.
