Without any kind of papers the cat is either a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), a Domestic Medium Hair (DMH), or a Domestic Long Hair (DLH). Every cat has something purebred in their heritage somewhere, that's why some have big ears, high cheeks, different color eyes, et cetera.

If you're still in doubt, you can have a look at a wide array of DSH, DMH, and DLH cats around this forum.

Color patterns are a different story and can be interesting to identify in our 'moggie' cats. If you have questions about which color pattern your cat has feel free to ask.
