Several of my cats have been diagnosed with severe tooth problems and gingivitis most of them are eight or nine years old they been eating Friskies canned food pate and chunky shreds for most of their life plus various dry foods I was wondering if anybody else could link dental problems to Friskies or is there some other reason that they have such bad teeth and have lost some of them?

Friskies has nothing to do with dental health. Some cats are predisposed with bad teeth, like my Cleo. She has had many teeth pulled, starting about age 2 years old.
