Need to do an ear-wash on my cat. I can buy the ear-wash fluid, but it ought to be straightforward to make. Recipe, anyone? It is frequently published that you do NOT use alcohol, but may use dilute vinegar, peroxide, and even olive oil. But no one wants to give a recipe. This stuff can't be that complicated.

I don't have a recipe. I use pet wipes for cleaning my cats' ears, available at pet stores and amazon.

I've never used them for my girls, but I've read on this forum that unscented baby wipes work just as well and cost less than pet wipes.

Thanks, great advice Marie73, will try the baby wipes when I use up the pet wipes.

That sounds like a good idea. Thank you. I hadn't even seen "pet wipes". The fluids available for ear cleaning are uber-expensive, and at least one just has crap like "organic essential oils" in it. Whaaat?
