Hi,
my cat has an absess near his bum and the vet gave me meds and said it wasnt ready to break yet and this was yesterday morning and now i come home and its broke and i just want to know if i should clean it now with the peroxide or should I leave it for a little bit i dont want to hurt my cat but i dont want it to get more infected. If anyone reads this and can instant message me that would be soooo greatly appreciated. Call and ask your vet what is best to use to clean the wound, he may be able to suggest something that won't cause your cat as much pain.

Hi,
I did clean the wound with some peroxide like the vet told me I can when the absess decided to break. Padunk was nice enough to message me and give me some tips. Thanks so much! My cat seems to be alot better today and his wound doesn't look as bad. Now I just have to work on him missing the litterbox. He is an outside cat so he isn't used to the box so I just deal with it and clean it cuz I know he doesn't know better. Thanks again!
