my cat (she’s somewhere between 13-15 years old I think) has always had problems with little scabs all over her back but recently they’ve been so much worst, especially on her neck which have never been a problem before not to mention that the ones on her neck are much bigger than the rest. I have seen fleas on her recently but she’s always had these scabs and she normally wouldn’t have fleas. We’ve tried switching her food up a few times as well.

If your cat has fleas, changing the food will not help. The cat needs to be treated for fleas. The scabs may be a reaction to the fleas, allergy to something else or to the fleas, or could be a skin condition. In any case, you need to take this cat to a vet as soon as possible to find out and to get treatment.
