Hello, my name is Patrice and I have two cats - a female orange tabby named Miss Pearl and a mail dilute Calico named Felix. I have just recently changed over to the Feline Pine litter box. I had previously used Tidy Cat Clumping Litter but moved into a new home with wall to wall wood floors. And I have had it with the cats dragging the clay litter ALL OVER THE HOUSE. Both cats seemed to be OK with the change but there's one problem. With the clumping litter, I had an enclosed litter box. The Feline Pine Box doesn't have a lid. And Felix, being a male, apparently doesn't like to squat. So he is basically peeing over the side of the box.

Has anyone had to deal with this before? Any suggestions? I could really use some good ideas....

Thanks - Patrice

Sometimes when you change to a new kind of litter you have to transition over gradually. Start with a box of the old stuff, with a thin layer of the new stuff. Then gradually add more and more of the new stuff.
Can't you use the new litter in an enclosed box?
