Hi Everyone,

Thanks for allowing me to join
Our 8 year old Brittish Blue Cheesy has had two fits in four days that we know about.
So we were looking online for some help
Thursday night - Heard a dreadful scuffle in the litter room flew out of bed and realised it was puss, she was on the floor and had peed herself Scary time - thought she may have had a fit but then within five minutes she came walking out fine
So now Monday night - same horrible noise and realised it is Cheesy rolling on the floor near the litter tray wetting herself
again, so from what I have read it will be off to the vet to get help
I'm guessing she is having fits by what I have read here tonight on your forum

They certainly sound concerning and I'm glad she's going to the vet. Seizures in cats (and in people) can vary. Sometimes they recover quickly and sometimes they are lethargic for hours after (in people we call it the post-ictal state but not sure about cats). Best of luck.

Many years ago, I had a Russian Blue/Manx mix that had "fits" from time to time.....vet said it was epilepsy. At that time vet said there was no treatment for it; the fits only lasted a short time, and then he was normal the rest of the time.
