BBC Two - Cat Watch 2014: The New Horizon Experiment

This looks to be a fairly comprehensive documentary about (domestic) cats airing on BBC Two this week. The online articles themselves already pique my interest. Being in Canada, I don't think this channel is available as part of my cable subscription.

For those in the UK, I would be interested in hearing your impressions of this show if you happen to catch it. Hopefully, the online video (once it's made available), won't be geo-locked, like a lot of online content seems to be these days.

If it's as good as the last one they did it will be fab. In the previous one they took a village and put GPS on to 100 of the cats and it came back with some amazing info on how cat share territory with neighbours cats or how far some cats travel. Also it showed that domestic cat behaviour is evolving to fit our lifestyles. I will try to find that link as it's on you tube

Thanks Jenny!

One of the "Specials" I caught, had a Funny title "Attack of the Zombie Cats" but it was dead serious...it was how canine distemper was affecting the Big Cats...and they were trying to figure out how it was even being found in Snow leopards, Siberian tigers, etc, that were still living wild...
It made me wonder about our domestic cats, and some of the mystery illnesses they can get...

The entire 3-part series is now available online via the link in the first post, BUT, it's restricted to UK IP addresses :(

I'll have to see if there's an alternative way I can view it once I get home.
