Does your cat follow you to the bathroom for a drink of water?

My cat does. Every night when i go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, stache would follow me right in and jump on the counter..i give him a cup of water to drink from. While im brushing my teeth hes there drinking away. lol

Sometimes he would go to the bathtub and would want a drink of water from the faucet instead. So i would set that up on a dribble. He likes his water. He would even drink from the kitchen sink.

Stache knows that every night around 10pm i brush my teeth... and if im not on time he would sit in the bathroom and meow until i come to the bathroom.

For some reason simba has started to follow me to the bathroom too. But he doesnt want the water. He just wants to follow me and hang out in the bathroom. lol

I have silly cats in my house.:p

It's great that he's getting more water from drinking from the sink. Cats need all the water they can drink especially if they have CRF-chronic renal failure-or now it's called CRD-chronic renal disease. The more water they drink the less chance of UTIs. Razzle does that all the time and i turn on the faucet for him to drink. Sometimes he'll drink from the kitchen sink. I don't mind. It's cute seeing his pink tongue drinking water, and I get to look at him longer.

Mine always come into the bathroom when I'm in there. I used to have a litterbox in there and they would ALWAYS use the box while I'm in there. Actually, it was nice because then I would see each of them pee at least once every day and could monitor that. Now the boys like to come in while I'm showering. Ninja actually sits in the shower with me, getting all wet. He loves it. Weirdo. Then Sully will wait until I get out of the shower and rub all over my legs, getting his fur wet, and my legs furry. Weirdo. I'm sensing a pattern....

I wish my cats would come in the shower with me. Nothing like furring legs. Geets will lay on the bath mat till I come out. Razzle could care less. Also if i have the bathroom door shut, especially in the winter, Geets will put his cute, little black paw under the door and see if he can grab some clothing or something.

Both of my girls have to follow me into the bathroom. Dora demands for the faucet to be turned on (she will sometimes sit on the counter and meow until I get up and turn it on). If they aren't drinking from the faucet, they are trying to stick their head in the toilet (while I'm using it--ewww) or trying to play with my clothes. They are always in the bathroom when I take a shower--but they refuse to get into the shower. Sad--I've always thought it would be fun to have a cat that enjoys playing in water.

I had a pile of kittens sleeping in the bathroom while I was having a bath. One of them had even pulled my towel off the towel rack so they could snooze in comfort! Other times two or three have sat on the edge of the bath and one even climbed onto me! Normally my bathroom door (and my kitchen door) is kept closed to cats so of course the moment they get opened the cats want to check out the 'forbidden' rooms!
