Hi everyone, thanks for making me feel so welcome as a newcomer. I thought I would let you know what a CH cat is. CH stands for cerebeller hyperplasia, it is a defect in the brain it causes what is called the wobbly kitten syndrome. Most kittens are affected whilst being carried by their mothers. The mother can contract the nasty cat tummy thingy and the unborn kittens brain development can be affected. Its a particular part of the brain that deals with balance etc. The mother if injected while pregnant the same thing can happen. This condition can also occur by its self. At the Country Cat Shelter we currently have 2 kittens both from different litters affected. If you would like to see these little ones you can go to http://www.countrycats.freeuk.com they are under special sponsors.
Hope I have not bored you all.
Love from fluffypechey and all the cats.
