Hi.
Whenever I get up in the morning, my chubby cat Coco can always be found at the bottom of the stairs, looking up at me, making an odd "bleating" sound! It's like a pining for something sound, and an obvious call to be fed.
However, when I go downstairs and follow her into the kitchen, she goes to her food bowl and carries on eating as normal! It's like she wants food, and needs me to go downstairs and acknowledge that.
Very strange behaviour. If it was just attention she wanted, why doesn't she just come into our bedroom and say hello, which she sometimes does at other times of the day?!?
