My dumbo cat Marbles have been getting himself into lots of trouble since I brought him back from Perth. He's getting into fights (Definately not provoked by him, coz I see him running away mostly). He comes back with scratches on his ear and body. Recently, he tore his ligament in his paw and has since recovered after 2 weeks of TLC. Just today, I noticed that he's got 2 puncture wounds on his back near his tail. I can't afford to bring him to the vet again, unless absolutely neccessay (His last visit cost me $200).

I am using Colloidal Silver Spray on his wounds so that it'll not get infected. I'm wondering if anyone else have heard of it and have used it before? Its basically Silver particles suspended in water. Apparently, silver kills bacterial very effectively. Its good for human and animal use. For internal as well as external use. I use it on everything... blemishes, eye sore, cuts and rashes. So has anyone hear of this miraculous product?

I´ve heard about but never tried it, it´s hard to find here in Sweden. My cats rarely get wounds (i keep them indoors) but when they do I clean with water and jodopax (I don´t know what you call it in english but it´s a produkt based on jod, bought at the vets).

Thanks for replying Sol! :D

I actually get the silver spray brought back for me from Perth, Western Australia. There's a company that produces it. There are also lots of companies online that sells this product in its different forms.

I wished I could confine my cat indoors. But that's just impossible. There are too many ways for him to get in and out...(its the way my estate is structured...like a playground for cats) I guess I'll have to live with the occasional cuts and bruises... :?
