I was just reading about some retailers selling counterfeit Frontline and Advantage flea products. The scary thing is the counterfieters have repackaged products that were designated for other countries. These packages contain mislabeled dosages and incorrect usage instructions.

There are ways to identify the counterfiet products by looking at the packaging. See http://www.frontline.com/epa and http://www.nofleas.com/Press-Release.asp.

The bottom line is be sure the product you purchase is approved for sale in the United States. If you buy from your vet, there is no issue since most Vets get their supply directly from the manufacturers.

Just wanted to share this with all of you.
