ok, so, cujo sheds. a lot. he's a medium hair, and he leaves little furballs all over the house. not ones thats he's coughed up, just stuff that he sheds and gets rolled into little balls. anyway, he pounces on them and then eats them. sometimes he doesn't even bother to pounce. is it ok if he does this or should i stop him?

I dont think it is ok for him to eat those hair balls but then again cats are used to that kind of stuff so I dont think it'll be that horrible. I dont really know, my cats dont like to eat their own hairballs after they see it around, but I would try to stop them, I dont want them having hairball mania in their bellies. Good Luck :D

I've caught Stormy doing this a time or two and whenever she does I try to stop her.
Really the only way to prevent it is to vacuum often because those little furballs seem to crop up all over the place if you don't.
