every so often, if i have the fridge door open, cujo will sneak past me and jump into the fridge and curl up on the bottom shelf. he really likes it. i even shut the door for a few seconds once to see what he would do, but he didn't care. i was just wondering, has anyone else had a fridge kitty?

ps- both my boyfriend and i are vegetarian, so there wouldn't be any meat smell that he wants or anything.

Zero does that too! We've shut him in also ! But he wants to get in everything! He always jumps on the door to the dishwasher... and unfortunately he even tries to get into the oven!! I have to be EXTRA EXTRA careful when I'm baking something. I don't think he'd actually jump in though, he should be able to sense the heat.

Gibson will do that to. He also likes to getting into the big freezer and the dryer.

Sugar can care less about the fridge but Twinkie will always whiff the air when I shut the fridge like he is memorizing the smell of the fridge and all the aromas, but one time and only once he jumped in the fridge on the bottom shelf and I was quite amazed. He must of really wanted some food!

Barnaby generally just wants to enter any door that opens, be it cupboards, closets, fridge, etc. Yes, I've closed the refrigerator door on him before and left him inside for about a minute. When I opened it, he was in no hurry to get out, I still had to pull him out. :wink:
