I recently noticed dark brown specks on my cat’s lower belly in between his back legs. These specks are mainly on the skin, not in his fur, and they don’t come off easily. He’s an indoor cat and I’ve checked the rest of his body for fleas/flea dirt but haven't found anything. It seems like he’s licked this area so much that he’s lost most of his fur there. He already has dry and flaky skin, so I’m not sure if this is related or if it’s something that I should be concerned about. Could it just be stubborn dirt or litter?

Your cat really needs to see a vet about this. This could be from overgrooming, food allergies, environmental, or another condition.
