Declawed Cats in Backyard

I adopted 2 cats from the SPCA and they were both declawed in the front. Currently I live in an apt on the 3rd floor so its fine for them to go out on the balcony. I may move to a house sometime later on down the line and was wondering if they would be able to stay in the backyard without jumping over. I certainly dont want to put them out there if they can do that and I know Twinkie wont jump over even if he wanted to cause he doesnt like the outdoors as much as Sugar. Does anyone have any idea if they are capable of hopping over somehow? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated :wink:
