I don't know how much it costs, but I think it's a good product for a household with cats and dogs. Also for kittens and full-grown cats. But not for my girls, all the same size.

I have dogs and cats. I feed the cats on higher surfaces(not my kitchen counter) where the dogs can't get their food and I also have fixed feeding times for both cats and dogs. When the cats are eating I keep the dogs with me as an added precaution.

It's an interesting product I suppose but I hate to spend money when it's not needed and I think something like this is not necessary.

Lol, I have to admit...when I saw the title of this thread my fiest thought was 'a door???'

IMO its a waste of money. I'm a firm believer in scheduled feeding, so if someone needs to be fed seperately I just separate them. Problem solved. ATM for meal times I have the boys eating together in their room, Jitzu eating on top of the gecko tank, and Torri eating in the kennel in her room. It works perfectly.
