Here's a fairly quick question. Tevy (my kitten that's about 8-9 weeks now she was dumped at my neighbors last month and I figured she was about 3-4 weeks old then) Anyway, she was doing good and fine up until several days ago. She had diarrhea and it was a hassle the first day, runny, and she was going on the carpet and such. Well after about a day it got to where it was just really soft stool, the best I can describe it is like others do, pudding. She plays, eats, drinks, she appears fine overall except the stool. I know she's gaining weight and growing like she should be so she just appears overall healthy. I just want to know what you guys think it could be? I've tried to read stuff online and there was so much stuff it came up. The best thing I know is to take her to the vet and do a stool sample and then if theres something wrong to get medicine and treat it. The only problem is we don't really have the extra money at the moment. I'm sure as long as it isn't too expensive that we could manage to get by like we normally do. This wouldn't be a problem if I had a job but theres just none to be had in my small town at the moment. Anyway, thanks for reading this, I pretty much just wanted to let it out because I'm sure what I'll end up doing is somehow getting her to the vet so it will be okay. Thanks for listening and any thoughts/advice you have, thanks. :)

*About a half an hour after above*

I forgot to mention off and on for a day or two she had a little tiny bit of blood in the 'pudding' which I was thinking was just because she was going so much it was irratating her rear end. I'm now thinking after all I read on here, that this all could be because of Coccidia. (sp) I was just reading about it here on the forum. Funny enough it's only been maybe a half hour after I posted the messege above and I was talking to my mom and I think she see's I really care for Tevy and I think she probably knows now I'm not going to let her go because I was talking to her about stuff I read on here and suddenly we went from getting her a stool sample check to getting a payday-loan thing and using some of that plus the money of from her check (she gets paid today) to pay I think it's $75 a package price thing to get all the kitten shots and 3 dewormings with a check up I think. I'll post an update after I take her to the vet later. :) Have a great day everyone!

We just got back from the vet about a half an hour ago give or take. He checked her out and started her worming and shots and such and said I've taken good care of her and done a good job with her considering I got her really young. Anyway, he couldn't see anything in her poop and said most likely she got some bacteria thing and we got medicine yadda yadda. I feel much better now. :p have a good day everyone! Give your loved ones a hug because you never know what will happen tomorrow. :D
