My female torby calico, Nikki is our most loving cat. I don't know where she came from or how old she is. She started hanging around my house when I was in high school. She was cautious around me at first but when I brought her food and water she immediately started showering me with love and affection. She loves being rubbed. She will let you pet her as long as you want (the longest I remember petting her was for an hour and she still wanted more). She knew what time I got up to go to school and she knew what time I came home because she was always waiting for me. Needless to say, I got her spayed and took her with me when my husband and I got married.

Nikki is a master huntress and loves to bring home the spoils of her adventures. She has brought us numerous birds, mice, moles, voles, lizards and two live rats (we think she wanted to bring the rats inside for Nori to play with).

We always praise her for the wonderful gifts she brings us and we never let her see us throw them away.

My indoor female cat Nori also loves light fixtures and bugs. She loves it when my husband holds her up to the ceiling fan in our bedroom and she swats at the pull switches. She often gets a nail or mark on the wall confused with a bug and she will spend hours jumping up and sliding down the wall trying to get to the "bug" that never moves (this is why I don't let her outside... she would run head-on into a truck trying to attack a cloud of knats or a mosquito)
