Are there any safe edible plants I can buy for my cats beside cat grass (which they don't like). They are destroying my spider plant and other plants around the house. If there is an actual plant that I can keep growing in doors that would great, just to keep them away from my favorite plants.

I have a spider plant that exists solely for the cats' entertainment. I grew it big enough while it was hanging, then "donated" it to them but placing it within their reach. It's safe for them to chew and easier to maintain than cat grass.

Cheers,

I've had a spider plant for years that the cats are allowed to eat. It looks terrible (a combination of bite marks and the sad fact that it's ignored most of the time) but they love it. I keep it in a large-ish pot that can't be tipped and the plant's long leaves drape over the side, creating a little hiding spot - very fun times for them.
