Salutations fellow cat people,

It?s been awhile due to completely forgetting my password. I have been lurking off and on but no more! I?m back and excited to introduce and reintroduce my chowder.

As may or may not be remembered, I lived with two great adult cats named Thor and Vin. They are still around, but have now been joined ( invaded by) a couple of crazy kittens. Muahahaha! Thankfully there have been minimal problems with blending them together.

I am still a bit amazed how things came to be this way. I never thought I would be raising kittens till I moved out on my own but here we are. To begin, my aunt?s cat gave birth in April to 4 kittens and since I spend a good portion of time there babysitting I became attached. I was especially fond of the tiny all gray one and eventually I convinced my parents to let me adopt one, then three days before I brought my kitten home my parents decided we needed to adopt the other unspoken for kitten as well. What can I say we were all in love with him. Hahaha Thank goodness though because it was not right without both.

Anyway, that was July and now Siri ( gray girl) and Strider (white face ) are six months old and all settled in and loved. Even Vin and Thor seem ok with them.

Here they are with Thor and Vin too

Awww! Cuteness on top of cuteness! Looking at the pic of Siri and Strider together, I can see how you ended up with both of them - they look, literally, attached at the hip!

Who's wearing the cone? (and why?)

I love that your four are all so different in looks! :)

Thanks Spirite, they are just little loves. I think they are really good buds, even if Siri is a bit more independent than Strider. She has always been a bit less social. It's why I second guessed getting her and considered just getting him instead. That would have been a grave mistake though. I think she really liked me out of all of her siblings and she's turned out to be my little princess. Despite being told she wasn't that affectionate, she is. It did take us almost an hour to find her though when we picked them up. Strider just came right out with the other sister.

Poor things are not really allowed to be together to much right now, because Siri is recovering from her spay. I think though Strider is trying to make friends with Thor. hahaha Little guy doesn't seem to understand he's annoying sometimes, but I do think they are making progress. I think that once some of his kitten antics calm down they might get there. Thor just isn't sure he likes the exuberance which is hilarious because of how obnoxious he can be towards Vin.

The one in the cone is Vin. Last Christmas when my brother came home he noticed she has a weird bump in her ear. We thought maybe she got scratched or something and it might just go away, but it didn't. To the vet we went to get it checked. She got it removed and checked. It was some kind of tumor, not cancerous thank goodness but it was an ordeal. The cone she came home with was awful for her and she couldn't/wouldn't eat with it so we got the pink one and it was much better.

They really are a different but awesome looking bunch.

What a pretty little black cat! Very floof. <3 I kind of wish my kittens had longer fluff but that would require constant grooming and I'm very busy. Your cats look nice together.
