As some know I just rescued a cat from my local shelter. Well one of her eyes kept getting boogers in it and when i'd wipe them off, it'd come back like a couple mins later. So I went to the vet today and he didn't really even look at her eye, or so it seemed. He says she has conjuctivitis but it didn't look THAT bad to me. I've had conjuctivitis with my chinchilla's and her eye didn't look anything like that. It also seems like its been getting worse, it looked better before the vet gave her the ointment. Is this normal? I just thought it was weird that he didn't really look like around her eye or anything.

My cat Oreo had severe conjuctivitis. It didn't look so bad to me, only watery with stuff in his eyes.
Just so you know, there are many types of conjuctivitis, she could be treated for the wrong one. Vets normally go to the most common medicine, and if that doesn't work, use a new one. Unless you'd rather have tests done to see exactly what type.
