I'd bought Robin a new feather wand, and we were playing, when suddenly,he began making ack-ack sounds. I looked,he had a feather sticking out of his mouthand was trying to spit it out.. I went to help, but he panicked and started running around. Finally I was able to wrestle him down, and take the feather out of his mouth. If your kittoh can tear apart the feathers, made of a soft material, feather wands might present a potential hazard.

Well I wouldn't leave it out unsupervised. Sometimes that happens. It the same thing when we decide to drive cars. You just never know. I played with Pete for 3 years with a feather wand. Karl would leave it out all the time. Sometimes Pete would carry the feather wand out to the kitchen. He wanted to play. Too cute. He never a problem with it and there were stray feathers on the floor.
