So, I think Zoey may be in heat... Since I never had a cat before, can someone tell me if the following symptoms are related to female cat in heat: rubbing her back constantly on the floor, rubbing her face against EVERYTHING (wall corner, heating ventilation outlet, furniture, and ME), meow excessively.

At first I thought she has flea, but I check her skin and hair and found nothing...

If she is indeed in heat.... any remedy? how long will this last? (We are getting her spayed, but she has feline flu when we adopted her, so her surgery is postponed until two weeks from today)

Maybe she would respond well to a stuffed animal of her size? It certainly sounds liek she is in heat. I've only had one cat go into heat, and she was through it very quickly. Just be patient, as I am sure she is probably a bit weirded out and certainly feels odd. And of course be very careful when opening doors. I wouldn't even leave screened windows open right now because she is such a strong attraction to any local toms.

Like rayona said, she will try ANYTHING to get out, and toms will do there dammed best to get in, be careful when opening doorss/windows etc. If she gets out while in heat she is almost definatly going to come back pregnant.

Make your appointment now, because when she's through this, she'll be in heat again in two to three weeks all spring and summer. She's very nervous and will do anything she can to get out. I would keep her in an inside room with a door for a week, or until she's finished. Then get her to the vet. This is so important. If she has a litter of four, that will leave four kittens or cats at a shelter without a home, and that usually means they're put down. Good luck. It's annoying, but it will be over soon.
