Anyone else have a cat that plays Fetch?
I mean, throw an item, they run after it, retrieve it in thier mouths, bring it back to you, repeat? More than just 4 or 5 times in a row?
My Drizzle Babe did this as a tot and, finally, this past week or two, he's resumed it - he'd stopped since being fixed. He's now obsessed with paper balls. He loves the taste of cardboard or paper. Why? Who knows. So we've got a cacaphony of tiny golf-ball size paper balls all over the floor.
When he wants to play, he finds one, picks it up, and trots over to us, plopping it down to say "THROW!"
Pre-fixing, he'd play for updards of 40 or 50 throws. It was amazing.
Post-fixing, he'd rarely done it. Now, resuming, he does it at least a dozen or more times. Usually about 20 times before getting tired of it.
