I've had loads of outdoor cats in the past, but I have recently moved where this isn't allowed, so I've had lots of questions about indoor cat behavior that I've never seen before. This is what brings me to these forums.

Also, I now only have one cat, his name is Pip, he's 8 months old, and he was born and has always been raised indoors.

An indoor cat needs a bit more attention and play than an outdoor cat, to fulfill his natural needs. Lots of toys and playtime and high places to safely climb to. Check out the Jackson Galaxy Catification books, or even the much older The Cat's House book for ideas to enrich his environment to keep him happy.
