I understand that imidacloprid can be used to control fleas. I use it to control aphids and wevils on plants, and wonder if the same product can be used for flea control on cats. If so, does anyone know the concentration to apply, and any other details that should be considered?
Thanks Bryan

No you can't use Imidacloprid on your kitty. It has been tested and accepted for use on plants, but not animals. Your best bet is to get either Frontline or Advantage from your vet because the other OTC products are ineffective and dangerous.

Cats are highly sensitive; applying an inappropriate chemical to their skin can be rapidly fatal. Only use a veterinary product approved for cats.
